Applied Animation: Storyboards and Animatic

Now that I have my treatment and a very rough idea of how I want my characters and environments to look I created a story board. This has got to be the longest story board I have ever created but I feel that it may be the most successful one I have done so far in terms of depicting my ideas on camera movement and character movement. I also feel that this is the most detailed story board I have done so far and I am pleased with my outcome.
I feel that my storyboard explains my ideas clearly and that it is relatively easy to follow (my horse looks amazing by the way). My camera movements and character actions are clear to see and I feel that it gives a really good detailed overview of the sequence I want to create. From my storyboard I then made an animatic to get a feel for how the animation would run once it was fully animated.

Overall, I feel that my animatic works pretty well, however I do feel that it runs a little quick in a few places. But this is something I sort out with little difficulty. I feel that the pace of the animation is going to work well, it may be slightly rushed but this is something I can explore when I come to create parts of the animation.
